#2 first. If you want a variety of music, why don't you move to a real city? North Dakota is even worse.

#1. If you're not listening to Rush and Sean simply for the humor of their ridiculous rantings but actually believe them, it might help explain why you've had so many struggles in life. And Savage is the most hilarious of them all. A few years ago, he was proposing that we nuke an entire Iraqi city every time they executed one of our troops.

I could, but then I'd lose everything on that drive. So, not only do I lose all of my data files, pictures, etc., but then I still couldn't use the thing because the operating software came with the computer which came from a store that no longer exists, and since I don't have a CD with the operating programs on them, there is no way I could make it run without having to buy all of the programs, and that is a whole lot of $$$. My plan of attack is to find someone to retrieve my data files and then see if it is possible to clean and restore the hard drive. Until then, it is NetZero for me!

You could try reformatting your hardrive. DUH.... But obviously you view this event as a warning from God. Good luck, the withdrawal can be difficult!

For those of you completely baffled by Sibiling 1's comment, she had sent me a message asking me if I had changed the setup of the URL because I was looking for a job.

Actually, it was great-grandfather's name, which was also our great uncle's name. If you look in "The Fine Print" archives from Arkansas, you will find all of the writings under that pseudonym. It allowed me to experiment with my voice, like Richard Bachmann did for Stephen King. (I even mention that in one of the columns!) It was common in Arkansas to write under pseudonyms, even though it is a small enough state everyone knew who the real author was. But, it is fun to pretend!

Same with "aaarrgh". It's not too hard to figure out who "aaarrgh" is, but it is still fun to maintain the illusion of anonymity.

I do have an e-mail account that uses George's name. That line of the family is dead, and I want to preserve it and make sure that it is not forgotten.

ummmm...are you really sure you want to go there? If a work of "fiction" is too thinly veiled it can lead to unpleasant real life consequences.

Many years ago I came across something you wrote under Great Uncle George's name. Have you written pseudonymously since?
