Speaking of the telly….

Have you noticed how much better the made for cable shows are then the network shows?  The only network show that I even watch anymore is “House”; my television is tuned to USA.  I’ve gotten into “Burn Notice”, “White Collar”, and their new one, “Covert Affairs”.  Victoria likes to watch the “Law & Order” series on USA.  Even my favorite SyFy show, “Eureka”, also airs on USA.  USA has come a long, long way from the cheesy second rate channel it was when it first started.

The Best Doctor Yet!

My friend James burned the entire season of Doctor Who with me, which we watch when the kids are over.  Being a HUGE Doctor Who geek, I think that Matt Smith is the best Doctor since Jon Pertwee.  He may only be in his 20s, but he plays the character like the centuries old man that the Doctor is.  The writing was excellent this season, and I enjoyed the episodes.  I am not to crazy about the female companion, as Donna was one of the greatest companions of all, but I really like the male companion, Rory, the husband of the female companion, and am glad that he is returning for another season.  I can’t wait for the Christmas episode!
